Tooth Brushing Timer – Cleaning Teeth For The Proper Amount Of Time
If people were randomly asked if there was a minimum amount of time that they should spend brushing their teeth, many would not know. Most people feel that brushing is complete when they have covered the surface of each tooth with the brush at least once or when their teeth ‘feel’ clean. Many would be surprised to discover that dentists recommend that people brush their teeth for two complete minutes after each meal or at least twice a day. Watching a clock for a full two minutes while brushing teeth isn’t convenient, so The Twooth Timer Company, Inc. has produced a tooth brushing timer that makes having a timer in the bathroom handy.
The introduction of tooth brushing timers to the dental market is a relatively new idea considering most people aren’t aware of how much time they should spend brushing. The timer used when people are brushing their teeth is similar to other timers that do not require batteries and built to serve a purpose where teeth are brushed.
Consumers spend a great deal of money on their dental treatments, the best brushes for teeth and their preferred toothpaste in order to have a health and clean looking smile. Purchasing a timer to ensure all of these expensive investments are not going to waste would be a smart move. With recent studies linking dangerous illnesses like diabetes and heart disease to gum disease, it is crucial to maintain good oral health.
Good dental care always includes brushing teeth with fluoride toothpaste and flossing as well as a fluoride rinse. The addition of a timer to help individuals from children to adults to brush their teeth for a full two minutes can change how teeth feel and even look. A timer like The Twooth Timer is convenient and will not distract an individual from brushing his or her teeth properly.
