People had very few options before there were cosmetic dentists available to help perfect most teeth. A cosmetic dentist provides far more services than the typical dentist responsible for cleaning teeth and filling cavities does. The beauty of what a dentist that specializes in cosmetic management of an individual’s smile can be quite dramatic and impressive. With more and more people valuing their appearance and wanting to look better, a visit to a cosmetic dentistry clinic is often called for.

Before the availability of dentists who performed cosmetic procedures on patients, the best options for maintaining teeth consisted of brushing with toothpaste that contained fluoride and frequent visits to the dentist.
