Simply White – Award Winning Whitening Product

HBA 2003 announces that the technical community has selected Colgate-Palmolive's Simply White for its New Product R&D Technical Team Award. The award will be presented by Reuven Sacher, Vice President Oral Care, Colgate-Palmolive, at the 2nd Annual Industry Award Dinner at the New York Hilton, on opening night of HBA.

The 11th Annual HBA Health & Beauty America, taking place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, is the definitive cosmetic and personal care product development event in North America.

This award recognizes the technical team behind a product that has greatly impacted the cosmetic and personal care industry. According to the ballots, the product development team for Colgate-Palmolive Simply White was most worthy of this recognition.

The original Colgate-Palmolive product development team - John Curtis, Associate Director, Technology; Peter Santarpia, Technical Associate; Michael Collins, Senior Technical Associate; and Robin Cabanas, Manager, Technology - developed Simply White Clear Whitening Gel, a unique gel formula clinically proven to noticeably whiten teeth in 14 days.

Simply White is an at-home whitening product that is made with a polymer system that adheres to teeth without being washed away so that the whitening ingredients work without trays or strips.

Applied to teeth twice a day with a special applicator brush, it is quickly absorbed and begins whitening effortlessly, removing even deep stains. Simply White is safe on tooth enamel and uses the same safe ingredient that dentists use to whiten teeth.
