Perfect Smile – Get A Whiter Smile In An Hour

When it comes to first impressions, your smile can be a tremendous asset or your greatest liability. The British are now becoming more aware and image-conscious. Teeth are one of the first things you notice about a person and first impressions can be lasting impressions.

Dr Andrea Ubhi, who last month opened her private cosmetic dental practice in the centre of York says, I have evidence proving the difference in looks post-treatment, but the main benefit of the treatments is the patients change in attitude to self-image. After treatments they have a fantastic confidence boost and smile much more.

With more and more people in Britain trying tooth-whitening treatments, it seems we have finally given in to the American belief that the brighter and whiter your smile, the younger and happier you'll look and feel.

Andrea Ubhi has trained in New York alongside Dr Larry Rosenthal, cosmetic dentist to the stars, I went to America with the intention of bringing back to the UK a new approach to cosmetic dentistry. I only use top American ceramists (as used by Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen) for my porcelain work and I am delighted to have the opportunity to offer my patients the same standard of work as they would receive in the top American cosmetic dental practices.

Behind the sparkling smiles of the rich and famous lies a secret ~ rather than splashing out on face-lifts, boob jobs or stomach tucks, celebrities are opting for something simple - the perfect smile.

Cosmetic dentistry is all the rage in America where it is a sin to have bad teeth. And here in Britain the 'film star look' trend is catching on fast.

Treatments range from tooth whitening, closing gaps and replacing old amalgam fillings with white fillings, to porcelain veneers and crowns. The most intriguing of all the treatments is the pain-free, non-invasive 'dental face-lift', which gives patients a lower mouth lift and is said to knock five to ten years off your age.

Dr Ubhi says with the latest technology they can even produce computerised smile analyses, which look at the relationship between lips, gums and teeth and show how they can transform your smile.
